Summerland Cottages is taking every approach necessary to keep our guests and community safe during these trying times.

To keep up with health regulations, we have created guidelines to ensure we are doing our part.

Relax and stay a while

Wake up and feel the warm sun on your face while sipping your morning coffee on your own private dock. Situated on beautiful Cameron Lake; the clean, crisp air will get you started for a day full of adventure.

When you are ready to get moving, you can cross the bridge to town and enjoy the small shops and eateries. If you are still up for some fun, try hiking the Victoria Rail Trail or hitting Garnet Graham beach.

At night, enjoy the communal fire pit with family and friends before settling in for a good night’s rest while listening to the sound of the loons wail.

Best fishing


​Kawartha Lakes is known for its great fishing. Our lakes are abundant in Yellow pickerel, muskie, bass, perch and panfish. Boat rentals are close by for an easy way  to hit the lake for the day.

Explore the wilderness of the Kawartha Lakes


​Kawartha Lakes has over 600 km of trails spread across the region. The Victoria Rail Trail crosses through Fenelon Falls and continues across the Kawarthas for over 50 kms. The trail is open year round for hiking, horseback riding, cycling, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and snowmobiling.

We are pet friendly!

No need to leave Fido at the dog sitters when you can bring him/her along for the fun. Enjoy your stay with your best pal by your side! All breeds are welcome but must be leashed at all times. You can also enjoy the local dog park located at the Ken Reid Conservation area just 15 minutes away!
